We use 'at the office' to talk about the concept and
the idea of someone's workplace. We often use 'at work' instead of 'at the
office' in this context. For example:

( Here, we mean that the subject spends most of their
time working.)

In office
The phrase 'in office' is often heard on the news. 'In
office' is often used to refer to an authority being the position of power. It
is mostly used to refer to presidents and their years as authority. Take a look
