MY FRIEND

                                                  My friend

     Friendship is a very great thing. An English proverb says: “A good friend is as the sun winter.” I think it is a good proverb. A real friend makes your life happier and more interesting. Friends have the same interests; they understand, help, respect and trust each other.

          As for me I`ve got a friend too. His name is Ned He is 11 years old. He lives in Chernihiv, Ukraine.

Ned `s hair is fair and short. He hasn’t got straight hair, he has got curly hair. His eyes are blue and his nose is small. He has got a pale complexion. My friend is quite tall and slim.

      Ned is really helpful – he is always ready to help me. He is clever and knows a lot. Ned is curious. He wants to know more and and reads many books.      We have much in common. We like to be together. We like playing chess and Lego.

     My friend can play the guitar well. He likes to play football. That’s why we often play football in the yard. We talk to each other, ride our bikes and have fun.

     We tell each other our secrets and troubles. We decide what to do together. A proverb says: “A friend in need is a friend indeed”. It is true. We always help each other in difficult situations.

     I miss my friend if I don’t see him for some time. I feel lonely.

     Friendship helps me to feel strong and confident.
