My Daily Routine
My name is Peter. I would like to start by saying that all my days from Monday to Friday are very much alike. That’s what we call “daily routine” when the same things are repeated from day to day. It seems my life is always very full of activities and obligations.
As a rule, I wake up at half past six and that’s quite early for me, so I don’t get up until 7.45. Then I put on my dressing-gown, go into bathroom and turn on the bath taps. I brush my teeth and have a shower. Good health is above wealth, so I do my morning exercises. After that I make my bed, get dressed, brush my hair and put my pencil-box, exercise-books and textbooks into the bag. After that I go to the kitchen to have breakfast which is usually prepared by my mom. She makes a lot of everything but I prefer something light, just a cup of tea and a sandwich. Sometimes for breakfast I have hard-boiled eggs or an omelette.
I say "Good-bye" to my parents, take my school-bag and quickly leave for school. . The bus is usually completely packed with passengers and I really envy my schoolmates who don't have to go to school by bus.
I study in the 7th form of Kyiv Magnet School # 2 I attend school five days a week. The lessons start at half past eight. Each lesson lasts for 45 minutes. I spend half of the day at school. However, I should notice that I really enjoy this time, getting knowledge and meeting my friends.
I come back home at two or three o’clock and always have dinner as I’m extremely hungry and take a short rest. After that I do my homework for tomorrow. On Wednesdays and Fridays I go to the swimming-pool. And on Tuesdays and Thursdays I attend martial arts.
I have my chores in the house. In the evening I usually sweep the floors, dust the furniture and sometimes clean the carpet with the vacuum-cleaner. I can’t say I’m excited about this work. I simply have to do it. My day ends at ten or eleven o’clock. This is the time when I go to bed in order to get up and start everything again the next morning.
At weekends I relax. I go for a walk with my friends, visit my relatives or devote more time to my hobbies
I am satisfied with my life. I have loving parents, nice friends and competent teachers and I enjoy my free time
