Read and translate

A space shuttle or a shuttle is a spacecraft that is designed to travel into space and back to earth several times. The six astronauts on board will spend ten days in space. Space technology is affecting us in all sorts of ways. An astronaut is a person who is trained for travelling in a spacecraft. The first artificial satellite was the Soviet Sputnik 1 mission, launched in 1957. An artificial satellite - an artificial body placed in orbit round the earth or another planet in order to collect information or for communication. A crew is a group of people with special technical skills who work together on a task or project. a tank/ship's crew. All the crew were on deck.
