Appearance [ə'pɪ(ə)rəns] - зовнішній вигляд, зовнішність. I don`t like his girlfriend`s appearance. Describe the appearance of your kitchen. These old trees spoilt the appearance of the garden. If you want to improve your physical appearance, eat well and exercise.

Attractive [ə'træktɪv] привабливий. An attractive young woman. She's very nice but I don't really find her attractive.

Plain [plein] непоказний, непривабливий. Mrs Jones was a rather plain woman. She was a very plain child.

Ugly very unpleasant to look at – used about people, objects, and buildings. She thought she was ugly and fat.  His appearance was ugly.

Age - [eɪdʒ] вік  I tried to guess her age but couldn't. Jimmy's very tall for his age. In everyday English, people usually use the expression how old …? rather than(частіше ніж) using the noun age: What age is your brother? → How old is your brother? | They asked me my age. → They asked me how old I was.

 Middle-aged[ˌmɪdlˈeɪdʒd] середнього віку. ( between the ages of about 40 and 60) He was a middle-aged businessman from Italy. she was already middle-aged when she changed career.

In his early/mid/late thirties трохи старше за 30 /близько35/близько 40/ He was a tall attractive man in his mid-forties. They are in their early twenties, but have very middle-aged views.
