Сьогодні на уроці:

1. Ознайомились з the present perfect continuous tense (теперішній доконано-тривалий час)

Утворюється:  have/has been + Ving

Наприклад: I have been cooking for 2 hours. (Я готую вже другу годину – перекладаємо теперішнім часом)

He has been painting the fence since morning – Він фарбує паркан зранку.

2. Put the verbs into the present perfect continuous tense.

Example

To cook – have/has been cooking

Have been doing

3. Let`s have some practice

Open the brackets using the verbs in the Present Perfect Continuous tense. (попередня вправа допоможе вам)

Example: Nick (to do) his homework for forty minutes now. - Nick has been doing his homework for forty minutes now.

8.      Jessica (to prepare) for her final exam since early morning.

9.      Bill (to play) computer games for four hours now.

10.   My neighbours (to argue) for more than an hour now.
