7. When we make suggestions
Why don`t you drink coffee?
We can use do/does in present simple statements for
emphasis:
“You don`t like going by bus, do you?” - “Actually, I do like going by bus for short distances.”
The bus isn`t quicker than the train but it does
stop right outside the factory.
Time expressions used with the present simple:
Usually, often, always, every, sometimes, seldom, rarely, never, hardly
ever, from time to time, once/ twice/ three times a day/week/month/year…, in
the morning/afternoon/evening, at night/midnight/noon/the weekend, on Monday
etc
