Note

1. We can use some in interrogative sentences to make offers requests or when we expect a positive answer:

Would you like some chocolate? (an offer)

Can I have some water? (a request)

Do you want some tea? (I am sure you want)

2. We can use any in positive sentences when it means «будь-який».

Take any cup, you like. Візьми будь-яку чашку, яка тобі подобається.
